The Power of the Breath


The aim of this workshop is to understand the effect mindful breathing can have on our well-being in everyday life.

As practitioners we are constantly striving to be the most effective therapists whilst juggling the demands of running a small business – can be stressful.

By understanding the power of the breath it can help 

  • Reduce stress
  • Reduce anxiety
  • Aid more restful sleep 
  • Support relaxation 
  • Strengthen the immune system 

The workshop will guide and support you by giving you the tools to become a more relaxed confident and effective therapist- you will practise Yoga asanas to open up the body to more effective breathing by gentle stretching of the breathing muscles

You will learn different Breathing techniques to understand the effect breathing has on our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system and the endocrine system. Relaxation/ meditation techniques – using guided scripts, music, candles and silence. 

By the end of the workshop, you will have the tools to be a focussed confident calm therapist bringing an enriched experience to your client.
