phoenix community

Creating a family environment where individuals feel special and valued fosters a supportive and positive learning experience. By promoting a collaborative and transparent approach, we contribute to making the industry stronger, more professional, and prosperous, which benefits not only your business but the field as a whole.

Friends of Phoenix

A huge part of the training you will receive, is around treatment management.  We don’t expect you to have prior experience within the complementary Therapy industry, and therefor, learning the skills associated with treatment management is just as important as the treatment skills. The Friends of Phoenix group provides apool of clients who understand that you are training, and are willing to give their time to help youon your learning journey

Earn 2 Learn

Once your initial training is complete, we know that you will want to add to your skill-set, however need to earn the money to pay for the training.

With the ‘Earn 2 Learn ‘ scheme, you can do the training without payment, with a schedule of treatments booked in afterwards to pay back the training fees.

Death Cafe

Unfortunately, Death and life-limiting conditions are something that you will often come across as a complementary therapist. We encourage our therapists to join us in the conversation.

The Death Café movement was founded in the UK in 2011, aiming for people, often strangers, to gather, eat cake, drink tea, and discuss death. The objective is ‘to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives’. There is a directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.

Pamper Parties

As a Phoenix therapist, you will be invited to take part in our ‘Pamper Party’ events – a great way to market your business and earn additional income.

These may be day times or evenings and last for approximately 3 hours. We offer these events to small groups of 6-8 people to come together to celebrate, share experiences or just have some time out. The groups bring their own refreshments, a bit like a ‘bring a bottle’ party, but it tends to be yummy food.  We supply the tea, coffee, and facilities and the therapists to provide treatments.

Find a Therapist

We are often asked for recommendations of therapists, so we are building a directory page that we can refer our clients to. This is an additional way in which we can support your ongoing business development.  It is free to join, all you need to do is ensure you have a professional image which portrays your business.

Caring for Carers

The role of a carer is vital, however, they also need some caring, often the last in line.  Each year, we hold a ‘Caring for Carers’ fundraising day where our therapists give their time freely, our Friends of Phoenix pay for their treatments, and then we give the money back to the therapists to provide remedies for carers.

Business Development

Just because you have a qualification, doesn’t mean you can manage a business, there is so much more to learn! We work in small Business Buddy groups to help and support each other in the creating and growth of our businesses. A business is anything that has an aim and a measurable outcome.

Helping us out at promotion events, not only allows you to promote your own business, it gives you the confidence and experience and understandig of event work so that you can decide if it is a worth while exercise for you to incorporate into your business.
